Kohout´s Gartendesign GmbH & Co KG was founded as a planning and service company for high quality gardens.

For over 55 years of family tradition our own culture of precious specimen plants, topiary trees and other rarities has ensured the highest quality of our products.

Our renowned garden center with an exhibition area offers a variety of such woody plants on 1.2 hectares.

Under the leadership of Jörg Kohout we deliver our own plants as well as facilitate planning capacities for international projects.

Our team consists of professional garden planners and designers, landscape architects, and horticulture specialists. We have been awarded multiple times for the generation of novel breeds.

Jörg Kohout is regularly consulted as an expert for plants, garden planning, and design in newspapers, magazines and television. Furthermore he engages in social projects with our youngest gardeners in schools.
